Song:   Yeh hansta hua caarvaan zindagi ka
                Na poochho chalaa hai kidhar
Tamanna hai yeh saath chalte rahen hum
                Na beetey kabhii yeh safar

        Film:   Ek Jhalak (1957)
        Singer: Hemant Kumar, Asha Bhosle
        Music:  Hemant Kumar
        Lyrics: S H Bihari
        *ing:   Pradeep Kumar, Vyjayantimala

Continuing the ride on the Hemantda breeze... I  guess  this  can
only technically be called a duet, with Asha's contribution to it
being  some  sprightly  humming  and  a  series  of  appreciative
"achha's",    "waah-waah's",   "kya-baat-hai's".   But   somehow,
listening to the song, they seem inseparable.  They complete  the
song ; as if their absence would compromise the song's integrity.

The song itself is a gentle sinusoid of jubilant melody-  there's
a  restrained  elation  in its words that surfaces time and again
through Hemantda's soft, rich voice, the cheerful  whistling  and
Asha's  unbelievably  charming interceptions. This is a song that
leaves you  with  a  warm,  happy  feeling  at  the  end  of  it.
Undoubtedly one of Hemantda's best.
