Song:   chhotaa sa ghar hogaa baadalon ki chhaaon mein
aasha diiwaani man mein bansurii bajaaye
hum hii hum chamkenge taaron ke us gaaon mein
aankhon kii roshni har dam yeh samjhaaye

        Film:   Naukri (1954)
        Singer: Kishore Kumar, Usha Mangeshkar
        Music:  Salil Chowdhury
        Lyrics: Shailendra
        *ing:   Kishore Kumar, ?

One of my alltime favorites.  Earthy,  affectionate  lyrics  ;  a
wonderfully  fluid tune and rhythm (the whole song sort of gently
cascades harmoniously, if that makes any sense) ; Kishore's soft,
velvety  rendition  ;  the  "aa  airey,  aa  airey"s ; the gentle
yodelling ; even Usha Mangeshkar's interception ; it all fits  in
so  perfectly.  Salilda  at his best, Kishore at his best, pretty
much everyone at their best.

How is this song picturized, does anyone know ? I get this  eerie
feeling  that  this  song  precedes some tragedy or the other- it
seems to OD a bit on the homely, feelgood sentiment; it is a  tad
too utopian.
