Yo Rmim ke Bhaio aur Baheno!

Consider the following situation:

The Place: India
The Time:  10 PM

Does it remind you of anything ? Of course it does! I guess every average
RMIM-er, while back home in India, used to be tuned in to Vividh Bharati to
listen to the highly enjoyable AIR program CHHAYA GEET. Remember the famous
opening lines "Chhaya geet sunne walon ko Kaanta Gupta ka Namaskar" ? For
those of you who are not familiar with this program, Chhaya Geet was a 30 min
program in which songs based on a particular theme used to be played. (Chhaya
Geet was discussed on RMIM last year)

Well, I plan to revive this program on RMIM. I plan to post 1 "Chhaya Geet"
per week. In each post there will be 7 songs (to fit the 30 min slot :-) based
on a particular theme or situation. This series will serve to corroborate
the "Naushad fan postulate" which states that "For every REAL life situation,
there exists atleast one REAL song which can be sung in your IMAGINARY
world!" :-) This series is also a small tribute to my favourite Vividh Bharati
anouncer (and Chhaya Geet hostess) Kanta Gupta.
