It's been a while since I posted the previous cGeet. I'd like to than Rajan
for reviving my interest, and hope to make cGeets a regular feature again.

This is #21 of a series based on the famous Vividh Bharathi radio program
"Chhaya Geet" in which songs based on a particular theme are played.

This series serves to corroborate the "Naushad fan postulate" which states
that for every REAL life situation, there exists atleast one REAL song which
can be sung in your IMAGINARY world ! :-) This series is also a small tribute
to my favourite Vividh Bharathi announcer and Chhaya Geet hostess Kanta Gupta.

CHHAYA GEET #21

TODAY'S SITUATION/THEME: It is often a pleasant sight in Hindi films to watch
the hero tease the heroine and then try to manaao her with a song. T'day cGeet
is based on the RooTHna-Manaana theme suggested by Rajan Parrikar and Satish
Subramanian.

While on this topic, I'd like to mention my fav. lines on this this. They are
from the Sahir/Roshan combo Dil Hi To Hai. Asha has sung this quawwali
"Nigahen milaane ko ji chaahta hai..." remarkably well!

Kisike manaane me lazzat woh paee   (lazzat ~ joy)
