S. Murthy) NNTP-Posting-Host: piglet.ins.cwru.edu Dear RMIMers, Here are the anwsers and results for the RJGK 30 on tandem songs. This RJGK has the dubious distinction of the lowest entries so far for any RJGK or Chitrahaar. The smallness of the number becomes all the more glaring especially after fantastic participation in RJGK 29. May the remaining RGJK's have participation like that. With that off our chest, more about RJGK 29. In all there 13 entries. The entries were, in no particular order Preeti Ranjan Panda S. Jagadish Neeraj Deshmukh, Swapna & Indrani Harmesh Kaur and Surjit Singh Snehal B. Oza Prince Kohli & Neeraj Malhotra Ashok Dhareshwar and Chetan Vinchhi Renu Thamma Himanshu Gupta Sami Mohammad and Preetham Gopalaswamy Ramki Krishnan Manoj and Medha Kalyan Kolachala and Ikram Most people felt that this RJGK was quite difficult. Some general comments follow Snehal: Your quiz is proving to be more tough than Ashok's :-) Prince and Neeraj: Kept us on our toes... ears... eyes... Sami and Preetham: The quiz was kind of interesting in that you had picked some really easy to identify songs and some from extremely obscure places. The songs from "JahaaN Pyaar Mile" and "Aabroo" were particularly obscure in our opinion. However, it was nice to see music directors like Usha Khanna and Sonik Omi be part of a RJGK. Preeti Ranjan: I must tell you that I had a hearty laughter at your rating of the level of difficulty of the clues :-) As far as I am concerned, the rating was just the reverse! Ashok Dhareshwar: Your RJGK is a tour de force. You are obviously not an "equal opportunity organizer"! Most of the clues are chosen from the female versions! :)) >>>>> The actual distribution of clues in the quiz was Female version clues : 12 Male version clues : 8 Same words in both versions : 10 Manoj Pai: Compliments for shooting down all the real easy ones in the introduction itself. Thanks Ashok, Preetham and Manoj and Medha for supplying PSTATS. We used Preetham and Sami's entry as a template. Here are the answers. The numbers next to the anwsers indicate number of correct responses out of total entries attempting it. I.
