Here's the 8th quiz in the series "Rmim"-Jhim Geeton Ki.

FOR THOSE WHO CAME IN LATE:

R-J G Ki is a quiz in which the clues are lines (may not be complete) from
somewhere in the middle of a song, and all you have to do is guess the song.
Eg: For the clue "Logon ko aatay hain do nazar hum magar....", the correct
answer would be the song "Ye dosti hum nahin chhoRengay...." from Sholay. But,
PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS ON THE NET. E-mail them directly to me. I will
"grade" them and post the results in the week of April 18.

Abhay Avachat, who compiled R-J 3 had the great idea that each R-J be set to a
certain theme. Hence, R-J 3 was a Rafi special, while R-J 4 (which was
compiled by Vivek Vohra) was a Kishore special. The theme of R-J 5 was duets,
and R-J 6, which was a Lata special, was compiled by JG. Finally, R-J 7, a
Mukesh special, was conducted by Preetham Gopalaswamy and Rajan Parrikar.


We have quite a few aRDent fans of R.D.Burman on RMIM, and several "devout RD
followers". Hence, I thought that this quiz shud be dedicated to the late
Rahul Dev Burman, who was one of my favourite music directors as well. So,
here's "Rmim"-Jhim Geeton Ki 8: An R.D. Burman special!


                     ****** CLUES ******

R-J 1-6 have demonstrated the futility of arranging the clues in an order
of difficulty. Thus, no claim is made about the difficulty of the clues.
However, an attempt has been made not to make the quiz too difficult in order
to improve participation. Hope the response will be good.
