The following info comes from the definitive reference book on the
songs sung by Lata in Hindi movies:

A definitive and complete book with lots of rare pictures. Entries
are in the format:
Song #, beginning of song, film, year, music, lyricist.
There are 5067 entries covering the period 1945-1989. They must have
this info on computer also, because they provide lots of statistical
data. Here are some excerpts; for complete and very detailed info see
the book:

According to Mr. Har Mandir Singh "Hamraaz", a similar book on Asha
Bhonsale by the same people has been published; it was released on
April 1, 1995 in Dinanath Mangeshkar Hall, Bombay, in a ceremony in
which Dev Anand, Asha Parikh, etc. were present. The book covers the
period 1949 to 1994 and has info on the 7595 songs by Asha in Hindi
movies. The book costs Rs. 375 and the airmail postage is typically
Rs. 250 for a book of this size.

Listener's Bulletin, a monthly, edited by Hamraaz Saahib and published
by the Secretary, the Flying Listener's Club, Kanpur.
