Search for songs based on various names and titles
You can also get raga information for songs from Hindi, Telugu and
Tamil films, and classical compositions of St. Thyagaraja. Most of
the Hindi film songs based on raagas were compiled in rec.music.indian.misc by many
posters. All the Tamil film songs based on raagas in this database is
taken from the list maintained by Ramasubramanian Ramakrishnan. The
Telugu songs were taken from the list that is maintained by Sreenivas
Paruchuri. The list of Thyagaraja compositions were taken from a
posting of Mohan Ayyar in the newsgroup rec.music.indian.classical
The list of Dikshitar's composition were compiled by
Narayanaswami Pallasena (swami@fermat.math.mun.ca). The list of Shyama
Sastri's and Mysore Vasudevacharya's composition were taken from
T. M. McComb's classical music pages.
