Song: Tu Pyaar Kare Ya Thukaraye, Hum To Hain Tere
Diwaanon Me
Chahe Tu Hume Apanaa Banaa Lekin Na Samaz
Begaanon Me

        Film: Dekh Kabira Roya (1957)
        Music: Madan Mohan
        Lyrics: Rajendra Krishna
        Singer: Lata Mangeshkar
        *ing: ?

This beautifully sung song starts with following couplet

Na Gila Hoga, Na Shiqvaa Na Shikaatyat Hogi
Araj Hai Chhoti Si, Sun Lo To Inaayat Hogi

Lata sounds supreme here. Her breath control, her ability to
deliver difficult notes are all at it's best. Madan Mohan's sitar
player, a small band of violinists are very good too.

Other Lata solo 'Meri Veena Tum Bin Roye, Sajanaa (3)' is also
equally good number. Here too, violin is lead instrument and
movements are very nice.

Then of course we have this Manna De classic from the film

Kaun Aaya Mere Ghar Ke Dwaare, Paayal Ki Zankaar Liye

In Manna's pure gold like, ringing voice, it easily is the best
song on soundtrack.

Then there are two Asha songs. One of them is my favourite

Ashkon Se Teri Hamne Tasvir Bannayi Hai

This sounds more like a Sachin Dev Burman composition, though.
Other song of Asha is a duet with Rafi

Hum Bulaate Hi Rahe, Tum Jalaate Hi Rahe

A typical Rafi-Asha duet. Also Madan Mohan's stamp (for such
light songs) is visible.

Last but not least, before I complete this post, let me mention a
very nice geet sung by Tatal Mehmood -- A famous song from film

Ham Se Aya Na Gaya, Tum Se Bulayaa Na Gaya
Faaslaa Pyaar Me Dono Se Mitayaa Na Gaya

Note: I am away for three days starting from today. This post
comes to you, by courtesy of script.
