One of my favourite theme is 'life & earthly world'. I also like
songs that brings message of happyness. Next few songs, will
cover the first theme.

#163
Song: Jis Ko Tune Ghar Samjhaa Ye, Duniya Musafirkhaana
Hai
Ik Din Saab Ko Baari Baari Chhod Isko Jaana Hai

        Film: Surang (1953)
        Music: Pt. Shivramkrishna
        Lyrics: Shevan Rizvi
        Singer: Manna De, Sulochana Kadam
        *ing: ?

I suppose, this must be a famous song of Surang. It's sung low,
with light orchestration. Brings out good amount of melody.
Sulochana Kadam and Manna De, both, sound very sweet. I find,
Sulochana Kadam's voice more refined and mature than in Dhholak
(1950).

Film also has one good Manna solo, which is an item of showcase
in Manna's repertoire, for it's a song of different category.
Different from those semi- classical and folk stuff. A song, that
one would associate with Rafi/Talat/ Mukesh/Hemant's voice,
usually

Chal Ai Dil-E-Majboor, Is Zulm Ki Duniyaa Se Bahut Door
....

Manna does a good job at this. I would say, he just about
succeeds in delivering feelings/emotions. Nevertheless, a must
song for a Manna-da fan.

Film also has two (?) Lata solos. I have heard only one 'Chhalke
Na Gam Ke Pyaale, Piye Jaa'. Lata, spreads her magic through this
nice number.
