Song: Hum Dil Ki Kahaani Kyaa Kehate
Kuchh Keh Na Sake, Kuchh Keh Bhi Gaye
Film: Shaadi Ki Raat (1950)
Music: Aziz Hindi
Lyrics: Firoz Jaalandhari
Singer: Lata Mangeshkar

This one is considered by many as Lata classic. Lata's nasal
voice adds to its beauty. Song's structure (tune, rhythm) anyway
makes it memorable. No, it's not catchy but has it's own mild
power of attracting your notice with more and more pull, as you
you go on listening.
Interestingly this music director is/was actually lyricist! I
have come across songs written by him (and composed by other big
time music composers). Other film composed by him that comes to
mind is Dhup Chhaon (1954).
Film has one nice Rafi solo composed by Pt. Govindram (yes film
has two MDs):
Woh To Chutaki Me (2), Dil Le Ke Chalate Hue
If I remember correctly there is some chorus too. A typical Rafi
song, that later developed into a style, that he used so
effectively to render songs picturised on Johny Walker.
Only other song I have heard is one light number from Khan
Mastana and Geeta Roy
Main Bhi Jawaan Gori Tu Bhi Jawaan, Jawaani Yun Hi Na Bit
Jaae
We have typical 'chulbuli awwaz' of Geeta here.
