Din Ne Jaate Jaate Kuchh To, Raat Ke Haath Diya Bhor Huyi~~~~ Aur, Daal Chadariya, Raat Ne Kuch Kiyaa~~ Phir Pehare Par Suraj Aaya, Phir Wohi Din Ke Phere Par Baar Basarten Jaayen, Ba~~.ndhan Chhute Mere Yeh Raat Din Pheraa, Yeh Raat Din Ka Phera Lagaa Rahegaa Yes, this is what Dinanaath Madhok, wrote on some day in 1950s, taking inspiration from mother Nature, much in a same way as our Vaidik Rushi, who too inspired from 'prakruti' told the same, several thousands of years ago. Days, come and days go; what is new in it, anyway ?! Well, if one wants to see, then there is enough, otherwise -- well just void. Well, in all these days, we have been accompanied by these lovely songs of our rich past. And in no time, we are at ATMJH's first birth anniversary! I would like to sincerely thank all the readers for their great support, words of appreciation, suggestions and more importantly, keeping it lively and informative by regular followups. Without, RMIMers, out there at various places around the globe, series could have never been so much enjoying experience to me and I am sure, to many on net, as well. I value all your contribution and am grateful for the same. #184 Song: Yeh Raat Ka Pheraa, Lagaa Rahega Jab Tak Na ?????? Aaj Tera..... Film: Bilwa Mangal (1954) Music: Bulo C. Rani Lyrics: D. N. Madhok Singer: C. H. Atma *ing: Suraiya, ? This soundtrack is a choice for desert island on any day, in my any list of 5 movies. Although, I haven't heard all songs, the only four that I know, are worth taking to desert island. Atma's voice, D N Madhok's meaningful lyrics and very effective tune and music by Bulo C. Rani -- these all together make this, one of the best film song ever. Use of flute, saarangi and pakhaavaj, to a tune set to some 'saayan-kaalin'(?) raag is out of this world. C. H. Atma gave one more memorable song in Mohan Pyaare, Ab Aur Sur Me Gaare, Mohan Pyaare I like this song, for it's poetry. It has great imagination -- a great theme. Dinanath ji, is comparing heart with 'baansurii'; for it too has several holes in it. And there are as many as there are stars in night sky! Well, he doesn't end at there. He goes on by stating that, each of these holes yield different "sur'! Hence he urges, Krishna to sing on this new kind of 'baansi'! I will try to provide complete lyrics some time. Suraiya sung one solo, with great control. She sounds, much sharper in this song than in her other songs: Parwaano Se Prit Sikh Le, Shammaa Buza Kar Jal Jaana Phir Duniyaa Ko Yaad Rahega [2], Tera Mera Afasaana This song, too has some haunting pieces of flute. Finally this fantastic duet by Atma and Suraiya! Jaake Bain Pyaare Pyaare Hain, Jaake Nain Matwaare Hain, Wo More Shyaam I am yet to hear a Suraiya song, which is more sweet than this. And this is no joking. This song has that power, which can make one forget about self!! Extremely melodious number.
