#194 Song: Maine Kahaa Babuji, Itanaa Bataaoge {2} Dil Mera, Dil Mera Leke Chale To Na Jaaoge Film: Chhoti Bhabhi (1950) Music: Pt. Husnalal Bhagatram Lyrics: Qamar Jalalabadi Singer: Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammad Rafi *ing: ? This playful, cute song belongs to a category of Rafi-Lata duets I have talked earlier. Lata and Rafi's voice blossom in this mellow song. Rafi and Lata also sung this good duet: Khushi Ka Zamaana Gayaa, Rone Se Ab Kaam Hai ?????? ??? ????? ???? Judaai Iskaa Naam Hai Pt. Husnalal Bhagatram's typical saarangi tune -- their unmistakable stamp -- is very appealing. Although Rafi sounds crying, he provides with equal match to sweet voice of young Lata. Rafi sung one more 'rona-dhona' song; and a decent one: 'Lunt Gaye, Lunt Gaye, Lunt Gaye Ho, Pyaar Me Tere Lunt Gaye Ho' ; a kind of extension of previous Rafi-Lata song. Lata came with two good-very good solos. They appear on either side of single 78 r.p.m. record: Duniyaa Waalon Badaa Hai Mushkil and Dard-E-Judaai Hai, Gam Ki Ghataa Chhai Hai Aankh Bhar Aayi Hai, Duhai Hai Duhaai Hai This second one is standard tune of this pair, which has come out rather well. Former is new tune from them and very good one. Though it's more slower than then second one, it holds listener.
