Song: Kisi Ko Mitana, Kisiko Banaana
Ajab Hai Ye Duniya, Ajab Hai Zamana!

        Film: Sheesha (1952)
        Music: Gulam Mohammad
        Lyrics: Shaqeel Badayuni
        Singer: Talat Mehmood
        *ing: ?

The catchy part of this Talat Mehmood song is it's second line,
which gets repeated after each antara. Musically song is average.
I like this song, for singing of Talat. In his delivery of 'Ajab
Hai Ye Duniya, Ajab Hai Zamaana!' you can feel the exclamation!
It's sung little fast and little higher than other lines of song,
to give right effect.

My other favourite song is sung by Shamshad Begum. This song,
shows -- and shows quite clearly -- that Gulam was once assistant
of Naushad. Song, gives me feeling, as if it were a Naushad
number:

Bedardi Ne, Bedardi Ne Dard Mera Jaana Nahi
Mere Dil Ne Jo Kahaa, Wo Maana Nahi ....

Here, tabla and sitar notes, reminds me of Naushad. Enjoyable
number.

I have known from this film, two Lata numbers too.

Khushi Dil Se, Hansi Hoton Se Rukhsat Hoti Jaati Hai

and

Jawaani Ke Raste Me Aaj Mera Dil Hai
Nahi Koi Saathi, Ye Badi Mushkil Hai

First one is good, slow number. Violins, saarangi players have
done a good job. It's penned by Umar Ansari. The later is nice
cheerful number, that can easily become anybody's favourite song.
It starts with short flute piece and then takes off, in typical
Gulam Mohammad (also a la-Naushad) style. Sitar, violins, tabla
keeps interlude as much lively as young Lata's charming singing.
