The film thought to be one  of  the  four  films  in  1949,  that
brought  Latabai  fame.   The film had two music director and two
lyrisists. Other pair was that of  other  master  music  composer
Vinod  and  his  compatriot Aziz Kashmiri. Those who remember the
song 'Tute Huve Aramaanon Ki Ik Duniya Basaaye' would  know  this
composer. I suppose this was amongst the top songs that time...
        In this song Lata  sounds  'Saraswati-suta'  !  Excellent
singing. Great lyrics and memorable music has etched this song in
people's memory for ever.  The other gem (apart  from  the  above
two) was Pt. Shyamsundar's one more tune for Lata
        'Nazar Se Dur Jaane Waale Dil Se Dur Na Karanaa
                Meri Aankhon Ko Rone Par Majaboor Na Karana....

        Bahaaren Fir Bhi Aayengi Magar Ham-Tum Juda Honge..'

This song appears as the first song in my  collection  of  Lata's
most favourite numbers.
