This great song is sung both by Geeta and Hemant. I like both and
like  them  equally.  I wouldn't call this song a song; it's nice
piece of poetry. Following antara is just one proof of it:

        Taar Na Jaane Unchaai Gagan Ki                 Aankhen Na
Samaze,  Geharaai Man Ki         Pyaase Papihe Ne Aas Thi Baandhi
                Ud Gaye Baadal, Aa Gayi Aandhi         Hum Ne  Jo
Chhede, Geet Khushi Ke, Aansoo Me Dhhale ...

Pathos these lines describe are so well expressed by Geeta;  over
one  of  the  all time best composed song. Although, nowhere it's
specified who's  the  real  music  composer,  I  would  vote  for
Timirbaran  Bhattacharya to have influenced the most in making of
this song.
