I don't know what to say about this song... it's simply  haunting
!   Which  leads me to a bit of confusion as to why it isn't that
popular.  (I haven't seen this in any compilation  -  Geeta  Dutt
hits, Sajjad hits or whatever..) Sajjad has done a marvellous job
with this devotional piece, especially with  his  use  of  bhajan
clappers  (for  want  of a better word) in harmony with the other
percussion instruments.

Like 'Saiyan', 'Sangdil' (a  movie  based  loosely  on  Charlotte
Bronte's  'Jane Eyre') is  another collectors'  item  for  Sajjad 
fans (or I'd say old  Hindi  music  fans in general)- each one of 
its 6 songs is a treasure.
