  This cheerful chorus tune is an epitome of irony when seen in the context
  of the movie... played at the heroine's birthday party moments after she's
  diagnosed with a terminal illness that gives her only another year to live.
  Pile on the emotion, right there.

  The song itself has a simple tune... and a very joyous, sprightly, springy
  feel to it (probably to drive the irony home) and Asha sounds wonderful. I
  forget who the song is picturized on, though.

  Aside on the movie: Has anyone seen a video version of this movie with the
  "ulajh gaye do nainaa" song on it ? My copy does not have that song, which
  was a big bummer because it is one of my alltime favorites.
