A nice, melodious song...very soft and definitely
very romantic. It has a waltzy strain to it. It
is such songs of Suman, that make me not dismiss
her off as a singer specially because I think her
voice is very weak. It suits such soft songs.

This song is available in the 'Rare Gems : Romantic
Duets' two tape set. The same tape has another lovely
Suman duet with Mukesh : 'chamke chaand poonam ka chhalke
pyar shabnam ka' from the movie MAHASATI BELUVA.

My inevitable twopence. I'm listening to this song right now. It has a
charming, fluid tune and some nice musical interludes. Rather redolent
of "pukaarta chalaa huun main" ; though set in a different gait, the
basic musical underpinnings seem to be same.

Speaking of Suman K, one soundtrack I heard recently is a really good
showcase for her (and Mahendra Kapoor too): Kan Kan Mein Bhagwaan, with
lyrics by Bharat Vyas and music by either SN Tripathi or Vasant Desai,
I forget which. Some really nice songs like "apne piya ki main to bani
re joganiya", etc.
