#74 Song: Hum Tuzase Mohobat Kar Ke Sanam Rote Bhi Rahe Hansate Bhi Rahe Khush Hoke Sahe Ulfat Ke Sitam ............ Film: Awaara (1951) Music: Shankar Jaikishan Lyrics: Hasarat Jaipuri Singer: Mukesh *ing: Raj Kapoor, Nargis, Prathviaraj Kapoor, Leela Chitnis, K N Singh Awaara - A landmark movie, in hindi cinema and cinema music. This song, was not as hit as the title; but certainly much better than it. I don't remember many songs from the music directors, based on Bhairavi notes. But this one is. It doesn't have very heavy orchestra support, the tune and singing of Mukesh lifts it. The other song from this talented master was Lata's 'Aa Jao Tadapate Hain Armaa Ab Raat Guzarane Wali Hai' which I can't resist to mention here and the former part of that great dream sequence, sung by Lata, Manna and chorus. Yes, I am talking about 'Tere Bina Aag Ye Chaandani'. Amezing piece of music. The effect towards the end - created by singing 'Om Namah Shivay', is too good. And from that heights, Shankar takes over to produce a gem of song through Lata and chorus in 'Ghar Aaya Mera Pardesi' ! A memorable soundtrack indeed.
