I know three Lata gems from this Chitalkar-Lata co-production  of
1953.  But this song is peak of them all. There are not many Lata
songs under Chitalkar's able  direction,  where  she  sings  such
high.  Particularly  the opening couplet is sung unusually higher
notes, noting  the  fact  that  the  music  director  is  maestro
Ramchandra   Chitalkar.   But  amazingly  Lata  never  loses  her
sweetness  nor  any  note.   EMI  has  done  good  justice  to  C
Ramchandra  by issuing an album (it's very old LP) where this and
other gems  from  Hangama  (52),  Sipahiya  (49),  Sangita  (50),
Samadhi (49) etc. are accommodated.

The other two songs that I know are:
        Chhed Gayo Mohe Sapane Me Shyaam
                Ankh Khuli To Main Akeli Thi Ram and
        Ji Chahata Hai Ab To Jahan Se Ruth Jaen

Both are good numbers.
